据欧盟食品安全局（EFSA）消息，8月28日欧盟食品安全局专家组就脱落酸的农药风险评估同行评审发布了结论。
欧盟专家组将脱落酸作为植物生长调节剂用于番茄幼苗与葡萄，进行风险评估。在现有数据基础上，尚不能完成消费者风险评估以及部分代谢物对于高级水生植物的风险评估，专家组找出了在残留物与生态毒理学方面存在的问题。

S-abscisic acid is a new active substance for which in accordance with Article 6（2） of Council Directive 91/414/EEC the Netherlands （hereinafter referred to as the 'RMS'） received an application from Sumitomo Chemical Agro Europe SAS for approval. Complying with Article 6（3） of Directive 91/414/EEC, the completeness of the dossier was checked by the RMS. The European Commission recognised in principle the completeness of the dossier by Commission Decision 2011/253/EU of 26 April 2011.
The risk assessment for higher aquatic plants for some relevant metabolites could not be finalised. A data gap was concluded for information to address the risk to higher aquatic plants from component 9B （relevant for all representative uses evaluated） and component 9C （relevant for the representative uses on grapes）。 A low risk was concluded for all other areas of the ecotoxicological risk assessment.
