据美国食品安全新闻网消息,近日由美国墨西哥风味连锁餐厅Chipotle's食物中毒引发的大肠杆菌O26疫情在美国蔓延,导致20人住院。
根据英国相关研究,10年前大肠杆菌O26和大肠杆菌0157的健康风险就已经基本持平,4年前美国农业部将其列为6个最常见的大肠杆菌致病菌之一。
美国疾病预防和控制中心(CDC)称,近两年来由大肠杆菌O26引发的食物中毒事件明显增多,在未来可能引发更多的疫情,尤其是引发溶血性尿毒综合症的病例数量可能会远超过大肠杆菌O157。
