据外媒报道，6月14日美国FDA批准一种减肥新机器，可从胃部抽取部分食物，帮助过于肥胖人群减掉超过12%的体重，效果远超药品与节食。
据报道，该减肥机器通过将植入胃部的一条细管，管子连到腹部上的接口，使用者再将接口连结一个外部装置，将刚摄取的部分食物吸出。
制造商Aspire Bariatrics表示，这套系统能在造成体重增加前，移除胃部约30%食物。
美国食品与药品管理局批准这套机器用于身体质量指数（BMI）介于35到55，且未能通过其他方式减肥的肥胖成人身上。
