据美国食品药品管理局(FDA)消息,2月28日美国FDA发布通告,再次就果蔬汁作为食品着色剂行业指南草案征求意见,期限为60天。
新指南草案完成时,将批准果蔬汁按照现有许可作为食品着色剂使用,而无需按照着色剂申请程序进行上市前审查与许可。相关机构可于2017年3月1日开始提交意见。按照规定,使用着色剂需经FDA批准,且需按照FDA条例规定的使用方式、说明与限制条件进行使用。果蔬汁作为着色剂仅限于一定条件下的特定果蔬汁。

In response to questions from food manufacturers, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued draft guidance to clarify when juices from fruits and vegetables may be used as color additives for foods without additional premarket review and approval from the agency under its color additive petition process.
Color additives must be approved for use by the FDA and must be used only in compliance with the approved uses, specifications, and restrictions set out in FDA regulations. The authorization for the use of fruit and vegetable (21 CFR 73.250 and 21 CFR 73.260, respectively) as color additives in food are limited to the juice from certain fruit and vegetables and under certain conditions.
